Acquisition adds new capabilities in flag and flagpole sales and service, along with specialty appliqué banners, while continuing the 40-year legacy of Maximum Promotions.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — October 1, 2026 — Panther Premier Print announced today that it has acquired Maximum Promotions, a Sioux Falls-based company specializing in flag and flagpole sales and service, along with custom appliqué banners.
For more than 40 years, Maximum Promotions and owner Mark Nelsen have built a strong reputation throughout the region based on customer relationships, service and specialized expertise. The Maximum Promotions team brings decades of knowledge in flags and flagpoles, including not only product sales but the ongoing service and support customers need to maintain them.
The acquisition brings that expertise together with Panther Premier Print’s existing commercial printing, signage, apparel, promotional products, mailing and web-to-print storefront solutions.
“Mark Nelsen has built a great business over the past 40 years, and we have a tremendous amount of respect for what he and his team have accomplished,” said Aaron Mell, President and Partner of Panther Premier Print. “From the beginning, our goal has been to build on that foundation, take care of the employees and customers who have supported Maximum Promotions, and create additional opportunities by bringing the strengths of both companies together.”
Maximum Promotions will continue operating under the name Maximum Promotions powered by Panther Premier Print. Customers will continue working with many of the same people they know today, while also gaining access to the broader resources and capabilities of Panther Premier Print.
“For me, finding the right partner was about much more than selling a business,” Nelsen said. “I wanted to know that our customers would continue to be taken care of, that our employees would have opportunities going forward, and that what we’ve built over the past 40 years would be respected. Nelsen will remain involved during the transition, working with Panther and the Maximum Promotions team to help provide continuity for customers.
The acquisition adds an entirely new specialty service line to Panther Premier Print through Maximum Promotions’ expertise in the sales and servicing of flags and flagpoles. It also expands Panther’s ability to serve schools, universities, businesses and organizations with custom appliqué banners and other specialty banner applications.
